Megan is enrolled in an after-school art class. These pieces were not made in that class. In fact, nothing she has ever brought home from that class is worth hanging on the refrigerator. I think it's more like babysitting. Too bad because she loves arts and crafts. So one night Rob and I were on a "date" and happened upon a kids' art show at the bookstore. We met the teacher who lives just around the corner and teaches art from her home. We took Megan to try a class the next morning and she loved it. In her first class, she drew a vase of flowers, while looking at a vase of flowers, that actually LOOKS like a vase of flowers. The next couple weeks they did clay. Here are two pieces she got to bring home.
